Here is my dog Bella when she was a baby. I just had to buy this paper when I saw it, it's from Basic Grey 'Max and Whiskers' and I'm in love with it.

Did this page the other day of my mum and dad's wedding day and I just love it. I must admit I didn't used Stampin' Up! products but instead I used my other fav brand 'KaiserCraft'.

Thanks to Makeesha Byl I have found a much more easier way to do Easel Cards (actually don't know how or why I didn't figure it out myself...silly me). Also another big thanks to her for demonstrating on her website the ruffled ribbon and threading a button/embellishment to tie it off. I know the design I have done is simple but I was able to bang these out in no time. Love it.

Being on holiday is the best. It gives me a chance to get stuck into card making. I even got a chance to start my wedding album (which has been 5 years in the making). Thank God for Stampin' Up!'s new colour range because I never would've got the colour to match my wedding dress. BUT you will all have to wait and see the album til I'm finished. For now you can drool over my cards instead. I used all new DSP's and stamp sets from the current 2010/2011 Idea Book and Catalogue. Hope you enjoy as much as I enjoyed making them.

It's been so long since I've been on here. TAFE, work and making cards just don't all fit together real well. Anyhow I have tried to get some more cards done over the last couple of weeks and with school holidays coming up soon I should be able to get some more done to show off. I'm still selling my creations on Ebay however I have put classes on hold until I finish TAFE in 10 weeks. So for now, enjoy!

While I Was Studying

During my study break I whipped up these 2 pages. It didn't take me long today, it just seemed to work for me and it probably helped that I found the layout ideas on Pencil Lines. I used Stampin' Up!'s 'Sweet Always' DSP, cardstock and accessories, though I am a lover of Kaiser Craft too so there is a touch of that throughout this layout. And don't you just love my dog, she is so adorable!

I did this page using the DSP 'Sweet Always' and I used a mixture of pink cardstock including cameo coral and blush blossom to co-ordinate with the pink pirouette and regal rose. I'm quite happy with this, so pretty!

Recently I did a gorgeous handmade canvas design for a dear friend for her newborn boy. I also made a matching nappy card. Just the other day she asked me to make her a couple of the same sort of cards for her friends who are both having baby boys. I wanted to show you the cute cards she has asked me to create.

I completely forgot that another reason I've been busy is I've been designing and making invitations for my friend's 30th Birthday. I had to make 40 of them and I used mostly Stampin' Up! products however she wanted anything music so I used some old music notes that I had before I found Stampin' Up! The colours are Rich Razzleberry, Tangerine Tango, Chocolate Chip and Whisper White and the cards are very simple but I wanted you to see them anyway.

Ok so I am going through my scraps box (which is huge) so I can make room for new stuff I'm getting, and I think to myself 'Hey why not make some little packs of mini cards?'. Well, here they are and I am impressed, even if I do say so myself.

The cards measure 10cm x 7cm (folded).

Supplies used: Raspberry Tart Designer Series Paper (yum) and the co-ordinating cardstock/accessories (whisper white, old olive, cameo coral, pretty in pink, rose red, real red and kiwi kiss). All packed into a little bag.

Hey there...Hope everyone had an enjoyable Easter. We spent the weekend away with family, which was really lovely and now I am so meant to be studying but as usual I am stuck in my room making more cards. I am especially excited that I am now able to make Tri Shutter Albums. Eeeeek they are stunning and I'm now in love with something else. For the first album I used 'Cottage Lane' DSP and for the second one I used 'Choc Chip Patterns' DSP. By the way I got the instructions from My Love, My Art, My Heart FREE.

Wow, feels like ages

So this is what happens when you decide to go study again...you neglect the most important things in life...BLOGGING! Yep, I started back at TAFE doing a Diploma in Interpreting, yay! Decided on Tuesday and started on Tuesday - crazy but loving it. So with my Sunday all to myself I thought I would quickly whip up some cards so that I can feel normal again. Of course I used new products from the Autumn Catalogue (which is released on 1st April), my favourite being the 'Lots of Bots' stamp set...so cool! Anyway, enjoy and have a great week. Wedding Invitations

Found out today that one of my good friends is getting married. I'm so excited for her. She's asked me to do her flowers, which is always a special thing. And since I am a little over making cards (today) I thought I would do some invites instead. I have only done the front panel. I haven't attached them to an actual card because I am just playing for now. I have made these ones just in black and white and I have used Stampin' Up!'s Baroque Motifs stamp set.

Easter Basket

Here's a bigger version of an Easter Basket I made a few weeks ago. This one is using a 12" x 12" piece of Designer Series Paper. The colours in 'Tea Party' I think are more appropriate for Easter and the size is perfect to leave out for the Easter Bunny over night. The completed basket comes to 10cm(H) x 10cm(W) x 10cm(D). It is just a few score lines, folds and a matter of attaching 2 brads to keep the handle attached. You don't even have to use adhesive (though I did). So easy. Oh and check out my little chickens (aren't they cute)?

Finally I have done a layout from my Hens Night which was actually the 12th of March 5 years ago. Oh dear, bit late on that one. I've done this with the Candy Lane Designer Series Paper from Stampin' Up! and used matching products (Pink Pirouette, Chocolate Chip, Whisper White, Riding Hood Red and Close to Cocoa). The rhinestones are from Kaiser Craft and the page title has been done with something I purchased quite a while ago (can't remember the brand ... sorry).

I still feel like I'm a bit outdated when it comes to my scrapbooking. For so long I felt like I was on par with everyone, but I do honestly believe I am 3 years behind with what's in fashion as I stopped scrapping when I owned a business. I used to go to scrapping weekends away, classes and demos, and now that I've gotten stuck into card making I feel like it's delayed my progress even more. My scrap pages used to be something I was proud of and now I just can't help but feel 'meh' about them. I look in magazines and look at work on the internet and I feel like I've lost it. Perhaps I need to find a camp to attend. Anyone feel the same way?? Anyway check out what I've done and see for yourself.

Can you believe I have never ever used Elegant Eggplant from Stampin' Up!'s Rich Regals cardstock pack? It is one colour that I just can't seem to get my head around and it may be the reason why I have yet to start my Wedding Scrapbook (my dress was this colour). Maybe I just love the colour too much huh? Anyway I have put it with So Saffron, Pumpkin Pie, Whisper White and Close to Cocoa...and I love it. However I don't think that I will be using these colours for my wedding photos. Though I think I ought to get a move on with this album as we are celebrating 5 years of marriage next weekend. Slacker!!

Got tons of Creamy Caramel so of course I found another colour challenge from Stamp With Alisa ...The colours are Riding Hood Red, Creamy Caramel, Whisper White, Cameo Coral and Chocolate Chip. Wow, love these together. Again another thanks to Karen Giron and Susan Joyce for their creations that have given me the inspiration to put these cards together.

The next set I made comes from a Kristina Werner colour challenge (don't think I ever get sick of her website ... so talented). Another cool colour combo.

So Much Kraft

Decided I had way too much Kraft cardstock so I googled 'Kraft Colour Challenge' and to my surprise another favourite blogsite of mine had a Kraft colour challenge 2 weeks ago. So the challenge came from Just Add Ink and the colours are definitely not something I would normally do, but surprise, surprise of course it turned out to be stunning.

I also need to mention where I got a couple of the ideas from for the following cards. Thank you to Karen Giron (who's blog is also absolutely gorgeous).

Oh and before I forget I can't believe I got the old toaster out to do embossing. What the??? I never emboss. For me it's like an old has been but I really enjoyed doing the white today ... I'm impressed. Check out what I did.

Tiny Easter Basket and Box

Got this cute idea from my favourite site Chic' n Scratch. I can't even find the tutorial now because she has so many to watch and I get sidetracked so easily that I can't even remember the name of these little creations. Anyway you will get so many ideas from this website and it is well worth going and checking it out. But for now let me show you these cuties (made using a piece of 6"x6" patterned paper).

Sorry the photos do not do them justice, however you get the idea that it's a cute little basket that you can put chocolates in. And the next couple of pictures have the same idea. So so cute!

Free Standing Pocket Card

Not quite sure what you would call this card but I found the basic idea from Carrie Gaskin's website, the Artistic Avenger ... she's so clever at what she does. Anyway I have named mine the Free Standing Pocket Card (original huh?). These are just my beginning ones so I'm sure they'll get better as I keep making them. Again another simple thing to design but with a difference.

Ok I may be starting to enjoy using "Tea Party" after all the battles I've had with it. But sssshhh don't tell anyone. Here is another Double Pocket Bag that my son helped me make. He wanted to give it to his nana for her pills (his idea) so we did this one together and I made a deal with him that if I had some input it had to go on my blog. Then we both thought how cute it would be as an Easter gift.

The next little creation I made is a Post It Note Holder using a blank canvas. I just covered a small canvas with "Tea Party" Designer Paper and decorated it with matching do-dads. It's so cute and of course, being me, so easy to make.

I really struggle with the Stampin' Up! papers "Tea Party". A lot of you would know that I am a fairly bright and bubbly person but also when I scrap or make cards I just don't really use this type of paper. However because I love Stampin' Up! products I still wanted to give it a go. I feel pretty good about what I made this time (as I have attempted it before) and because I can't cope with the subtlety of this paper I thought why not make cards with a difference. So this is what I came up with ...

Just had to make another Easel Card. It's not one with great detail but I'm just so excited that I can now make them. This is using Stampin' Up!'s Regal Rose, Kiwi Kiss, So Saffron and Tangerine Tango.
